Donal O'Hare
A dual citizen of Ireland and the US, I started my career in human resources management working in manufacturing, marketing and services organizations. I entered management consulting with PriceWaterhouse in Dublin, Ireland, then their sixth-largest office worldwide. There, I undertook a highly creative approach to the development of a new division that accounted for about 25% of that office’s consulting practice at the end of five years.
In 1980 I was brought into The World Bank where I focused on the design and delivery of a Management Development Program that achieved significant measurable improvement and was widely regarded as an outstanding success.
In 1987 I left the Bank to form OHMC in Washington, DC, where we operated with up to seven full time staff supported by a number of part-time adjuncts. Since moving to Madison, Wisconsin, I have operated as a sole consultant, working in tandem with others on assignments as needed.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, Philosophy & English from National University of Ireland; subsequently, I earned a Master of Arts degree in Human & Organizational Behavior/Development from George Washington University, Washington, D.C.
